NX 4 Customization and Programming
NX Open. NX 4 introduces the NX Open for Java application programming interface (API) which enables customers to develop NX automation programs using the Java language. Derived from the Common API (the single-point foundation for all NX APIs), the NX Open for Java API gives customers full access to NX core application functionality, allowing them to create advanced automation programs using the standard Java (version 1.4.2) development environment.This product is designed for users wishing to take advantage of the benefits of the Java programming environment and standard Java tools such as the native user interface and remoting tools (Java Swing and RMI).

    另外一种开发软件，在.NET没出来之前早就有了。

    JAVA在某些领域，特别是安全方面，远远超过.NET。JAVA支持跨平台，但.NET仅支持WINDOWS平台。

    我比较关心the NX Open for Java API ，Derived from the Common API (the single-point foundation for all NX APIs)这句话。

    Common API(the single-point foundation for all NX Apis),这里的single-point foundation指的是什么？？？

    single-point foundation,我的理解是:就是现在所有的NX API(.NET C Java )都是Derived from C OPEN API
