Define View

Synopsis

num = DVIEW/csys

Description

Creates and displays a new view which is assigned a numerical value. This number, which must be greater than 8, becomes the current view number and may be used in subsequent View statements. The first eight views, which are shown below, are automatically created by the system.

The system repaints the screen, performing an Auto Max-Min on the geometry. The geometry is displayed as seen by the user moving to a position normal to the XY plane of the specified coordinate system. If the view and the work coordinate system are linked, the work coordinate system could change.

NOTE: GRIP, beginning with Version 4.0, supports most of the Unigraphics layout and view management options. Views can be defined with user-defined names, and placed in multi-view layouts. The DVIEW statement is still valid; however, you are encouraged to use the VIEWC statement.

Parameters

Parameter
