Where Used Report

Synopsis

USED[/['component part file name'][,ROOT,'dir spec'][,IFERR,label:]]

Description

Creates a report which lists where a specified component is used in the database. The system searches the assemblies in the directories specified. If you specify a component part file name, an active part is not required. If none of the optional parameters are specified, the system searches where the active part is used to create the report. The report is output to the current listing device.

'component part file name'

A string or string variable which represents the component part file name of the component used to create the report.

ROOT

Minor word which indicates that a root directory specification is to follow.

'dir spec'

A string or string variable which represents the name of the directory in which the system searches for the specified component to create the report. To search subdirectories of the specified directory, you can append "..." to the directory name as when specifying search directories in the interactive UG load options.

IFERR,label:

Specifies a label to which program execution jumps if an error occurs during report generation.
