You must open the appropriate directory and/or file header before you execute this GPA using the FHREAD statement. If you want to access more than one file or directory, you can use the DOPEN and DNEXT statements to cycle through the files.
This GPA works only on part files.
This GPA writes to the description area of the file on disk that was last read by the FHREAD command and does not write to the file loaded in memory. Therefore, if you attempt to save the part file you modified on disk a "Save Failed" message box displays stating that the "Part has changed on disk since it was first opened." Please use PHMOD to modify the description area of loaded parts.
