Trailing Zero Suppression Example

When trailing zeros are suppressed, all zeros beyond a significant digit are automatically eliminated. Any significant digits beyond the number of decimal places specified are also eliminated.

For example, for 4 decimal places:

The value...

Becomes...

2.5000

2.5

2.5010

2.501

2.500001

2.5

When trailing zeros are suppressed, they are suppressed in the dimension and tolerance text.
