In GRIP, you can place dimensions and drafting aids on a drawing in two ways.
Creating Drafting Objects in a View within the modeling display, and then move the view to the drawing. This causes the drafting objects to get moved to the drawing.
Creating Drafting Objects directly on the Drawing Itself.
