Sharing GRIP Executables

Both GRIP executable and object files ( ".grx" and ".gri" ) can be shared between different platforms provided you adhere to the following criteria (note that we only mention executables, but the same is true of object files):

A GRIP executable compiled on any one of the following machines can be shared by one of the others.

The same is also true for these machines:

For example, you could create an executable on Windows NT and execute it on Alpha Digital UNIX. However, you cannot create an executable on Windows NT and run it on HP-UX.
